The MT606G EPIRB with GNSS, AIS, IR strobe and 121.5 MHz homing signal. Category II manual-release version, compliant with the COSPAS-SARSAT international system.
The MT606G EPIRB is an emergency device designed to provide fast and reliable positioning in maritime distress situations. It integrates advanced technologies such as a GNSS receiver for accurate positioning, an infrared strobe light to enhance visibility during SAR operations, a 121.5 MHz homing signal for direction finding, and AIS transmission to alert nearby vessels of activation.
This unit is the Category II – Manual release configuration: the device is removed manually from its bracket and activated by the operator. Unlike float-free (Cat. I) models, it does not release automatically in case of vessel sinking and requires crew intervention for activation.
The MT606G is approved for the international COSPAS-SARSAT system and is suitable for pleasure craft and professional vessels that require a compact, accurate EPIRB compliant with maritime safety standards.
